I am going to be in Orlando next week and want to visit OWC to waterski. Can somebody from Orlando tell me what the water temp might be?

The lake I live on in here in Orlando is about 65-70 degrees. I skied last weekend in a spring suit and was fine. We should have nice weather this weekend with temps in the mid 70's. I'll guarantee you one thing....there won't be any snow on the ground! Enjoy your time while you are here. :)

That's about right! It's warm enough for a spring suit but their are still some wimps at are ski club who are still wearing wet suits! The weather looks good so good luck!

I'll be in Orlando in a few weeks. What is OWC? Is that the cable course you see from the highway to the airport?

Good web site at http://www.orlandowatersports.com
Performance products www.perfski.com runs the pro shop. They have both cable ski and an area for boat pulls.

That is it from the Beeline Expressway. I ski there every year, rates arre very resonable. I leave Sunday to drive down from Ontario Canada. Been going there for 7 years. You never know who'll you'll run into there. Nice tournament lake there too. Not just cable.

That's it. Everyone knows that Orlando is a great place for various entertainment but few seem to realize the activities for the waterskier. There are several businesses that offer waterki lessons and pulls ($15-$30), several waterski schools, and if you had your boat there are open public lakes. Hey, if some of the family are college bound in a few years you should check out Rolllins College. They have a great waterski team. See a picture of them ... on a MC at: http://www.rollins.edu/athletics/
The Mastercraft dealer there is super nice. If you go by ask for Steve. Web site at:
