I just ran the boat out of the water for one of the first times a couple of days ago. Never had any reason to before because I test drove it when I bought it and didn't get to use it much last year...cracked ribs. Should I have any water coming out of the shaft at all? On my previous mastercrafts I didn't. No water is coming in the boat. I have a dripless system on this one though. If I do where should I begin looking?
It is still under warranty, but I was told I would have to have it in the shop for a min of 3 to 4 weeks.

is the bilge full of water or something?
no, there should be no water dripping from the shaft
are you sure there is not some seepage from the fakealake that's running across the hull and dripping down the propshaft??? maybe

out of the shaft on to the ground or out of the shaft into the bilge?
to the ground...no water is coming in the boat at all.
I do have it hooked to a fake a lake, but there is no water trickling from it. It is coming directly from the shaft.

Those dripless shaft logs have a water tube going to them to keep the system cool and the water exits thru the shaft log thru the hull to the outside. IIRC

Thanks for the help. Should have kept the other boats. Just when I learn something about them I upgraded. Gave it a little lake test. Everything was perect.
