 I've been diligently going through the MC owners manual and checking everything on my "New TO Me" 205. I removed the fuel pick-up and the fuel sensor. I had noticed that the fuel gage was irratic, but since the fuel was at less than 1/4 I wasn't real concerned. Once removed from the tank, the sensor fell apart in my hands. Is there an original replacement part for this float sensor?

Thanks, I contacted ISSPRO at their 888 number shown on their site. They have a new part number for that sensor. It has an aluminum body (changed fronm the plastic), butyl gasket, but has brass 10-32 screws (keep your old SST screws). It is an exact replacement for diameter and length (11.437") with the two electrical connections on top. The 5 bolt (screw) pattern has one offset hole (by federal mandate and is the same on the MC), make sure that this is identified when installing with the gasket. Past complaints where with the SST screws would possibly split the top housing if tightened too much (my housing was fine). They suggest adding a washer under the screw to disperse the screws force. The units have been tested in alcohol and with gas that has ethanol. before install is complete you can attach the "G" and "S" electrical connections and tip the tube to move the sensor - this should register on your fuel gage. ISSPRO is fabricating mine tomorrow and sending out UPS.
