Ya know those plastic screws that came in your HO finbox that you replaced with real setscrews that RIC does NOT sell? I need two of those for my hardshell binding system. These plastic screws happen to be PERFECT for my project. Anyone care to part with them?

anyone removing said plastic screws, should NOT contact me since I do NOT sell the stainless steel replacement set screws needed to fill the threaded holes where the plastic screws were found.

Nope the plastic ones are basically plugs, since HO doesn't hold the patent to use metal set screws.

As has been previously posted, the skis seem to be presently shipped unthreaded with nothing in the holes. I am not sure how long they went along shipping with the plugs. There has to be someone here with some plugs lying around....MYMC maybe?

Wow, there sure is a need for a supplier for those setscrews around here. SOmeone should get into that market for the people with 2005 and 2006 model skis that utilize them. however, the 2007 models dont have threads in the boxes, so I would advise that entrepenuer to carefully manage his stock as to not get hung with a ****load of setscrews he cant sell.

I heard there is also a demand for cheap sunglasses here too.

as far as an entrepeneur, you are looking at the finbox all wrong ump (surprise:rolleyes: ) that entrepeneur could offer a nice plug tap to go with the pack of set screws for a nice flat price........... IF he were selling the set screws and marketing them on this site anyway.

Not if you're as intelligent as Ric (More then 10 000 post to proove it!)
and include a 1/4 " by 20 tap to make your own threads...8p

Oh, you're on to something, cause if you could get people to tap 1/4" 20 threads, the 1/4" 28s on the market now wouldn't work very well..8p

It may seem that way, but what the customers would be paying for is convenience.
