We had a beautiful day in Nebraska yesterday. So we got the boat out of the garage and hit the water for our maiden voyage. Boat drives like a dream. Put just about 4 hours on it. So hopefully in about a week we should be riding behind it. Water still a little chilly, but bearable with a dry-suit. Right at 52 degrees. :D

At least for this year! :D I'll tell you what, going into the winter, the lake was down right at 39"!!!! Totally sucked. But due to the rain in the past two months it is back up to par. I haven't been able to pull right up to the dock in almost 3 years. As I said before, life is good!

I had one small problem to get past. I had to put thing back together after having it a part for a month doing the stereo/leds. Don't worry, I'll catch up! :D

That thing is fricken loud!!!! Those Alpine digital amps are where it's at. I put the PDX-4.150 on all the separates. Eight pairs of separates on one amp, running at only 4 ohm, it should be able to run all day full blast without breaking a sweat! :D

I didn't take a bunch of pics of the install on mine (http://www.lockituponline.com/07_x2/index.htm), but I am doing the exact same system in my friends brand new X-2 at the moment. Needless to say, I am taking quite a few pics of this one for reference. Should have that one done in about a week or so.

It was a little chilly, but I should have some shots shortly. In the meantime, check out Malibu Strings site for now. :D

Your set-up at the lake seems great too.

Enjoy it while some of us are still in the white stuff.

I got lucky and made it to the lake today. We spent our day replacing subs/mags/balls on the course. It was a ton of swimming but I did get to ride my sky ski for the 1st time in about 2 years. It felt great!!!!!!!!!!

Sweet looking boat Skeeler!
I was wondering if you ever worked out the issues with putting the tower up/down.
The reason I ask -- We have the same tower, Mine is on an 07 X1.Last Sunday when we went out, I was able to put the tower up by myself and it only took about ten mins. There is a specific order to putting it up.
1. Unfold front legs and bolt them together
2. Move the rear portion up and align the two -- At this point there should only be a minor adjustment needed for the front legs to align in the pockets.
3. Bolt those two together
4. Put the bimini on ( I spent more time with the bimini than with the tower)

When breaking it down just take the bimini off first.

I kept trying to bolt the front legs together after I raised and aligned the back. It does not want to work that way.
You prob already figured this out.
