I just stopped my dealer, today, to see if they got the new Maristar 240 in yet. Their's is not in yet, but they're hoping for next week. Apparently, the dealers who have had boatshows already got their's first. Anyhow, we sat around for a while and chatted and as I was leaving, my salesman said, "I've got something for you." And he handed me a DVD called "REWIND 2005" I just got home and watched it. I loved it. It gave a recap of all the 2005 MC Wakeboard, ski jumping, and waterski events. It also showed the making of the PS197 commercial. It included a factory tour. And also the X-Series, Maristar, and Prostar commercials. Has anyone else seen this DVD. If not, I would go to your dealer and ask if they have any in stock. Great DVD for the winter-time blues!!! :steering:

“Rewind 2005” was a great DVD. I have only watched it 3 times though….. Zane did a great job on the tour of the Mastercraft Factory and I also enjoyed the making of the Prostar commercial.
Go to your dealer and get a copy it sure make the winter a little more tolerable.

I've been humming that song from the Prostar commercial for the past few days. Glad I got the full version from the masters as opposed to the edited version that showed up on the MC Slalom Tourney. I sure wish they'd put it up under the downloads section here (note to self: check downloads section before you post). Great commercial.

I just ordered many skins (and a few more) from Bennett's. Just dropped them an email asking them to send me a copy along with the last shipment of skins. I have asked.
Well, I kinda meant all you had to do was email me and I would send you one...so if things dont work out let me know. ;)

Original order was for motorbox, both side panels, driver's seat base and port-side bow seat back. Second order would've been for starboard side bow seat back and observer's seat back, but MC, for whatever reason, will now only do the second bow seat back.

The 2005 Rewind DVD ranks up there with some of the great ones Malibu has put out.
Malibu use to set the standards for marketing DVD's.
This one just set some new standards.

The BMW films are pretty good too, it would be cool to see Mastercraft do something like one of the BMW films.

Probably in school too. Hey, it relates to ... let's see if I can remember now ... to the "legal codes" of boating/fishing on public waters. Yea, I think that was it. Some of my students work for the Department of Natural Resources (game wardens and budding attorneys).

Watched it when i got home.

Many thanks to MYMC for the DVD. It has worked wonders taking my mind off the snow..... I may have to follow the Evil Professor's lead and think up a way to justify showing it in one of my classes!

I missed everything here, what is this video that everybody is raving about and where can I get a copy?
after seeing the home page mention zane as a rep for MC I remembered how when watching the rewind film I couldnt help but notice how much zane liked zane. It's pretty funny in the outtakes when he is kinda hitting on these girls and keeps asking them if they want to get a picture and they say no.
I bet he'd be a good rep due to all the time he's spent on the water for sure.

I speak from personal experience. You can be charged for it if that's what you want.
When I emailed Bennett's about it, I thought it was free, too. Note to self, always ask the price. Do not assume anything. I was charged $24 for it. I didn't ask. Thus, I didn't fuss and paid my bill. I live. I learn. And, most importantly, I remember such things when deciding where to throw my business in the future.
/bought my new decals from Rambo Marine. Very satisfied customer. I haven't forgotten what a good deal I got from Bennett's on skins though.

The UPS guy charged me 100 US $ for CDN taxes and customs broker fees and CDN taxes on the broker fees for a prop bought in US. :mad:
And i already had paid 12 US $ for shipping...

While living in Belgium we had a trip to Asia and could buy any region DVD player for $100 when DVD players were like $300. Coming back into the EU, I took my player out of the package and put in suitecase, my friend carries it like a gift and customs stops him and determines he needs to pay ~$200 tax on the unit.
Those taxes Andre talks about are real and painful!
