Looking for some advice on weighting an 06 x-2 for better wakeboarding wakes. Wakes seem a little smaller than my previous 01 x-star with stock ballast. Has anyone found the right combo of additional sacs to get better wakes on the x-2.

I have 320 lbs in the front of mine-Lead. Then we plumbed in the FLYHIGH custom X2 sacs in the rear. With the stock ballast I am now at almost 1800 lbs and it should be perfect. The new X2 wake does not look as big as the X1 but it does a great job especially with that added weight.

The B.I. system is the way to go, it ties in perfectly with the factory pumps and really helps out the wakeboard wake and esspecially the surf wake.

I second the lead in the bow too. That or a small sac under the front seat.

Here is a video of an X-2 we sold with this kit. http://www.waterskis.com/Huperlite-Coex-WakeSurf-Board-p/hyperlite%20coex.htm

I do a pair of 350's in the back, and 360# of lead up front. with about 4-5 ppl, this is a good wake. If we want more, we'll put another 300 on the floor in front of the rear seat.

The wake definately doesn't look "huge" but if you edge properly through it, there is ALOT of pop.

I heard that Lead can be bad for the boat... does it mess with the integrity of the fiberglass at all??

depends on how you load it in there. as long as the weight is evenly distributed, everything should be fine. You want to keep it covered as well since lead is toxic.

I rode the other day with full stock, fly high custom rear sacs, fly high integrated bow sac, 400 more nose, a not totally full 700 cockpit, 2 people, 80 feet, 25 mph. Wow. It was as good as I have ever experienced an X2 and made my 05 xstar buddy reconsider his weighting scheme.....

i put the fly high x2 sacks in the back and the integrated bow sack in the front, plus stock ballast

How do you empty these Fly High Sacks?? Do they drain out of the top of the locker or somehow tie into the KGB system??

I tied the back ones into the KGB system and the front one I fill with a tsunami pump
