I have a 2003 X2 and need a new cover. The original is now in shreds after leaving it on while pulling the boat (even though it was a "tow cover") arggg  So I am looking at replacing it with a new one from MC for big bucks, but before I pulled the trigger I wanted to see if you guys could help me out....

Does anyone have a MC cover for sale at a good price? I would be pumped :worthy: OR Can you suggest a better aftermarket cover for the money.

THANKS!
MK

Rankin Covers. (http://rankincovers.com/) Their covers are top notch. If you want more info, shoot me a PM.

Going with the Sunbrella material seems like the tip. Is that what the OEM covers are made from?

If yours is the gray sunbrella cover, depending on the extent of the damage, you can have it patched/repaired.

I do not believe the OEM's are sunbrella, but I am not 100% sure. The OEM fabric feels different...

Ditto on this recommendation - just got one for my 2000 MariStar. Good place to work with, nice cover, quick turnaround, etc.

A buddy of mine has a cover for his BU that allows him to fold the tower down, then cover the entire thing all the way to the water line. Similarly priced to the factory cover too.

MasterCraft, a brochure or a calalogue has refered to them as LINEN covers, Talk to these people in this post,http://www.tmcowners.com/teamtalk/showpost.php?p=328632&postcount=2, they make the MC covers.

I will second both the sunbrella and the rankin. The sunbrella is a cost effective quality cover. It will work for your average boat owner. The Rankin is the cream of the crop. They build an EXCELLENT cover. I currently have the factory cover and it is right up there with the Rankin cover.
