-Pleasurecraft is Silver in color and should say Pleasurecraft somewhere on it.
-Indmar is Black in color and should say MasterCraft Power or Indmar somewhere on it.
-Mercruiser is Black in color and should say Mercruiser somewhere on it.
-Chrysler is blue in color and should say Crusader, IIRC.
That's a start.
If yours is a '89, it should be a MasterCraft Power/Indmar I would guess.

Hours wise that would depend on how the engine has been maintained & run. I would start by testing an oil sample & cylinder compression test. That will tell you a lot about the engine.

remember to rotate and polish your prop at every oil change ... it will prolong engine life and help prevent engine gunk buildup

And don't forget to turn your rotary girders.

I always rotate the air in my trailer tires every other oil change (100 hours) in the boat engine.

Well if you have a rotating lift, that really is the best way to get all the nasties out.

Had my knockler valve go out at 100 hrs. Should have just replaced it when I serviced my Fan belts. 8p

Make sure you check the blinker fluid on the trailer too. Mine was low after the first summer.

Make sure you're getting enough jiggawatts out of your flux-capacitors too, Marty.

That's weird, mine were too full this year and cause SERIOUS lighting malfunctions. I ordered some new ones.

Really need to keep an eye on the Kneuten valve seals. Once they start leaking you might as well trade it in if you don't service them right.

I never thought of doing that, but I do turn the boat upside down to get any dirt, and debris out of the carpet, rather than vaccuming. I always do it in the spring and keep it that way till the pollen has finished falling to keep it out of the interior and off the dash, then when we go to the lake the pollen just washes off the bottom of the boat.

Don't worry about it, if it's like mine, everytime the knock sensor picks up a knock, the door bell rings!:D
