How does Easter candy cost $200 ... well, if your kids shove it in their nose on a car ride to grammy and papa's .. you simply take the $100 ER copay and multiply it by a factor of 2 - Awesome Baby!!!

Kids are fine, they shoved Nerds into their noses (3yo and 2yo - my son did it like 15 seconds after his big sister - cause its the coolest - DONCHANO).

Boy, you're on a string of mishaps lately.....

1st the 'burban and now this.....

Maybe you should just stay home where it is safe :D

Kids certainly do provide entertainment, don't they!!! As they get older, their "cute" mistakes will get more expensive. I laugh often, cuz that's all a guy can do....

This made my Easter - I can't stop laughing! I'm sure you weren't laughing as your sitting in the emergency room - but just think years from now you will laugh at it! My kids are beyond this stage in life - but I can just imagine what it was like in the car headed to the hospital.

I'm afraid to ask, what did the hospital do?

I'm afraid to ask, what did the hospital do?Pulled the candy out.

The only thing that the ER has that Pendo and Mrs. Pendo don't is enough people to hold the little tykes still while the candy is removed.

Actually, last june my son had to have a staph infection lanced on his stomach so they had to strap him down to one of those boards ... that was terrible

as for the candy ... well, they did not have to use any forceps ... by the time we got there and saw the pediatrician the kids had been crying and sniffling so much the apparently dissolved the candy and/or swallowed it back down ... all they had my wife do was plug one nostril and breath into their mouths to try and force it out the nostril they had stuck it in ... after that they didn't see any candy so they just called it good and took my Visa:) The nurses and Doc were real nice, more than anything the kids (especially my daughter) needed to calm down ... they gave them some stickers and a stuffed animal and we continued on up to grammys for the easter egg hunt ... glad it wasn't jelly beans!
