Want to install Tower Speakers. was wondering about getting the wiring up there. Looked at other threads and they meantion a wiring harnes by Mastercrat. Will I need to drill holes and fish this harness through the tower? Anyone send me in the right direction on how to do this?

Thanks

If you have a Mastercraft Zero-flex tower the holes are already in the tower. When it was mounted, they should have drilled matching holes in the boat deck, one for the mounting bolt and a smaller one for the wiring. The same pattern is on both of the front tower feet. Typically the speaker wires go up the passenger side because the amps and such are usually in the storage area under that side and tower lights go up the driver’s side because the toggle switch is dash mounted near the driver’s right hand. The wiring harnesses from MC also have water proof quick disconnects so you can remove the upper tower to get the boat in the garrage. You should be able to see the disconnects in this picture.

Yes the boat is a 2003 X10 and has the Zero Flez tower.
I can see the black connectors / disconnetcs in your picture at the hinge point. Does the wiring harnes come with disconnects for the speaker themselves or are they permenately wired in?

Really disappointed in the sound system that comes with the boat. Need to replace the stereo , sub and speakers. And want to add speakers on the tower. What brand of tower speakers do you have were they factory or did you add yourself?

Thanks for you advise

Try using alpine speakers on the tower and in the boat. They are about 100.00 a piece but there sound is great. Use a JL sub in the boat...solid sound. This setup worked great in my X10. I have had so many people ask about the stereo. Good Luck
