View Full Version : New boat pics... finally

Since I am new, I feel the need to post pics of my new baby. I really want to thank Jim at BAWS for helping me out and getting me a great boat at a great price. I have only been able to drive it once so far (killing me) but it was great. My son had a smile from ear to ear when he was able to drive with me, making the whole experience that much better. The weather is not cooperating and it is suppose to be really cold again this weekend. Such is life.

I am taking the time to finish up some of the projects I wanted to complete such as the tower speakers, depth finder, stereo remote, pop-up cleats, and center ballast. I have three done so far, which makes me happy. I hope to start the ballast project tonight and will document my progress for future people who want to do the same thing. Anyway, here are the pics.

I sure hope you are not a Gator fan, since everyone in FL is now those colors could get you ran out of town.

I'm a bastard too, I have a boat that has Georgia and South Carolina colors. Go Gamecocks!

Beautiful boat!! Good luck with the installs... should be fun!

If I were you, I'd take her up to Knoxville during one of the football games. What's seating capacity in the X1? I think like 10. It could be you and the 9 hottest coeds on campus :).

SteveO - Can you elaborate on the depth finder that integrates into the display? I would LOVE to add one, and I figured that the factory depth would go into the LCD readout. Any idea what a fair price is from the dealer? I would also like to add pop-out cleats? Any info there would be appreciated also...Thanks!
