Well, after about 2 weeks of sweat and labor, the stereo and leds are finally finished! Turned out pretty well, and is loud!!! :D Those Alpine digital amps rock! Now, if it was just warm enough to use the thing. Going to be 75 degrees today, and the rest of the week is going to be in the 40ís.

Shot of the extra set of JL Audio separates I put in.

Looks great Skeeler!! I just added an other amp to my X2 just for the Sub. Also added some Fusion Wake Tower speakers. Got a great Deal on them and they sound great and clean. Also the Tower speakers have Led lights around them. Looks cool at night. I will post some Pics tonight when I get home.

If any one is intrested in getting some I could get them a good deal. Just PM me and I will give you the info.

The worst part of the whole deal, getting the fricken boat in the garage!!!!!! Mastercraft, if you are listening, you have got to find a better way to have that tower fold down. Folds down fine (not a one person job), but to get it in the garage (standard height garage, which my 04' fit in just fine) I had to reposition the board racks at least 5 times, and let almost all of the air out of my tandem axle to get it to clear!!! Very frustrating! Then getting the tower back together, not any easy job. Other than that, love the thing to death.

Not trying to be rude...What you you like MC to do about your standard 7ft garage door opening? You say it folds down just fine.
Tower folds just fine w/ one person. The legs are no higher than the highest part of the windshield.

What was causing the issues when putting the tower back together? I have put a bunch of them together without any issues?

Not saying its a deal breaker, but with the tower folded down, I had to turn the tower speakers sideways ,and maneuver the board racks around. The only thing I am saying is, from the 04' design to the 07', night and day difference. I knew that would piss a few of the MC die hards off right away. The problem is with my door, not the boat, right? :D
.
.
On putting it back together, the main issue was the weight. That thing it heavy! And I couldn't get it lined up correctly right away, but again, that was the first time I did it. I am sure that with practice, it will go a lot easier.

Hell of a job there ske! I like the way you put the lights in the cup holder areas. I put mine actually IN the bottom part of the cup holder, and glued in a piece of textured plexi in the bottom to keep the LED from getting wet. Seemed to wok pretty good. Its cool looking to have something like a Corona beer bottle in the holder with the light shining up thru the bottle.

How long did you have cans in the cupholders before you realized light wouldn't shine thru them? Just wondering, ya know!  8p

Nice Skeeler! Boat looks sick! Any recommendations on where to pick-up LEDs and get some install info?? I'm particularly interested in the ones above your platform (on the handle) and cupholder. Nice job!! Also like the paint scheme / boat color.

Power wire was in the tower then found the wire for the running lights behind the dash and spliced into them. So when the running lighst are on the Leds are on.:)

I like the supports between the bottom bracket of the tower and the hull. But I wondered about folding it down and how it would go into the garage. I have an '06 w/ the zero flex tower. It folds down perfectly and I can do it by myself. Good thing I went for the '06 and not the '07. Bought a brand new house based on the X2 fitting in the new garage and I don't think the '07 would fit.

Glad to help. Now, so I can get back in the trust tree with the fellow MC devotee's. :D I have taken the tower down a few times, and put it back together, and like I thought, practice makes perfect. It did get a lot easier the more times I did it. I guess what I liked about the Zero Flex tower was the fact that it folded down, and into that nice tower holder so it did not rest and make and indention in the seats. That was nice, but hey, I guess you can't have everything, can you!

I really like the folding characteristics of my 04style zeroflex on the 197
I can setup and fold down the tower by myself without getting into the boat. AND it rests on the front handrails and barely fits into my standard garage door opening when folded.

Sweet site. That's a score for me because they sell the windows I've been wanting to put in my enclosed trailer. Thanks for posting that Skeeler.

Here's an item I bet a few of you could do some interesting applications with.
