With the winter coming to a close I'm beginning to start swapping out my ski gear for well, my ski gear. I'm glad I found this place, it looks like it will be a great resource for me and my boat! I've got a 1992 prostar 190.

Welcome, and this is a great place for information. winterized and de-winterized my boat for the first time because of the great info here.

One thing to remember, if you read any posts by Upper Michigan Prostar or UMP as he is referred to and you have no clue what he is talking about it has nothing to do with you.

Just be careful about showing Undercarriage and Chassis components that may be questionable or several of these may show up in your driveway,

Welcome to the board, Nice bote.

As said above be careful of the characters around here, they will suck you into long drawn out meaningless conversations just about anything and everything.

(and if you talk like this UMP can't see what it is that you are typing, he has been known though to go into quadruple parenthesis so that we can't see what he is typing either)

I never really thought about that before. Come to think of it I haven't seen another prostar with the reverse coloring like mine. It's a pita to keep from fading but I like the looks so much it's worth it to me.

Good to note on the potential fading. I've only seen one 190, and one 92 205 (looked bizarre) with your colors before. I'm only guessing that they made more reverse Red 190s since I've seen a handful of those.

It could be that this boat was a custom ordered machine. I wouldn't put it past it since we bought it from our neurosurgeon friend who was it's original owner.
