I was thinking about picking up a couple of these. Has anyone had any experience with them? My main question is can these actually be used as seating? I have a TriStar 190 and seating is tight as it is. With these, if they can't be used as seating it would basically be driver and rider only(which is legal in Arkansas).

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

I have debated long and hard over these. The thing that gets me is that they have no rigid frame, so unless full they provide no seating. I don't really want to be weighed down ALL of the time...

I've heard that you can fill them up with air if you don't want to fill all the compartments full of water. I haven't used any of these, take one for the team and review it for us!

My input would to be careful with those. I used to have a 1985 American Skier and I bought a pair of 400lbs Fat Sacs. First I put them on the sides around the motor and if made the boat very unstable. Then I put one across the back and the other on half-full up front on the floor. That seemed to work the best. I dont know how big a 190 is but my old boat was pretty narrow.

when you inflate the back rest, they do work great as seats. the problem is draining them since they are chambered bags (as i recall mine were). it takes longer to drain them (vs. a standard tube sac) because you have to monkey around with the bag to get all the water out of the top chamber. they aren't that bad, we had them for about 4 years, but now i don't need them as seats so i switched to a standard tube sac.

Sitting on those is a balancing act...my buddy took them out after the 2nd trip out with them. They are very hard and too narrow....
