Hey guys,

does anyone know who makes the MC ballast bags or something very similar to the locker bag on a 205V? I think I had bildge cleaner in the bildge that hardened the vynal and eventually it cracked. My dealer wants $404 for a new bag.

Its the one with 3 ports in a triangle configuration at one end of the bag.

Thanks,
Don

Go directly to Barefoot International (www.barefootinternational.com or www.fatsac.com) and have them custom make one for you if they don't have a direct replacement. I just had them make me a new one for my center ski locker on my 2002 X30. The nice thing about getting a custom sac is that you can make it bigger than the stock version so it holds more water. I went from the stock version which only held 289 lbs of water (calculated) to one that will hold just over 400 lbs. The cost was only $175 shipped.

I just went to their site. Looks pretty straight forward to get the custom sacs. Going to fill out the form and get a quote. Thanks!

I bought a Fly High Pro X Series Tube Sac for my ski locker in a 205V. I am installing my ballast system and haven't even used it yet. I can tell it will not fill up every available cubic inch; it is about a foot short but gives me some room for the pump and fittings. I talked to the Fly High Rep and he said that was the best "non-custom" bag they offer for that space.

The Pro-X is so durable I can still use that space to put my slalom ski in when the bag is empty.

I have lead weights for the bow to get the weight dialed in on my system.

I want to put a fat sac in the ski compartment in the back of my X-9, but I need to do some measurements.. Any of you PS209/X9 owners know off hand?

I had 2 in back of my 209. One under the seat that still allowed me to use the seat with the sac extending to the back of the engine cover which measured approximately 10x26x60 (570LB) and one that I put in the rear ski locker which measured approximately 10x16x70 (425LB)

How much did you pay for it? I just bought a new house so I'm on a budget this year ;)

I sent in a quote form last night, and called today from Barefoot International. They wanted 250 bucks for a custom bag and 3 sets of quick connects. Said they would have it to me in two weeks. :)

A lot better than the 400 MC was going to charge and from what I understand a lot better quality bag.

You should probably tell them what it is for, that is not a custom sac, BFI makes a direct replacement.

I did tell him what it was for. He already knew the port sizes/hose size for the quick connects etc but the style has changed since 2000 and they don't make a direct replacement with 3 ports on the end anymore. They are all two ports for the reversable pumps MC uses now.

Doesn't really matter though. $250 bucks isn't bad in my mind and it'll be here in two weeks so I'm more than happy. The ice is almost gone and I'm itching to ride. Soon as this sac arrives I'm going for a pull :D:D
