Yea, he is the key/locksmith guy at the State Prison in Bridgeport. He is the guy at the prison all the prisoners want to get to know! Not a job I would want! He started as a welder and always said, "I'm the guy that welds the bars, that keep the boys in"!

I grew up in Burlington, now relocated to Boston. I still keep the boat on Tyler (Goshen)- its way smaller than Highland. Hopefully Ill make it over your way at some point this summer. I assume theres still a course there?

I live on Bantam Lake in Litchfield/Morris, CT...Lots of inboards and a very active ski club (Bantam Lake Ski Club) with a slalom course, new Beeman's jump and a clubhouse and waterfront/dock area and about 40-50 families in the membership. Bantam is the largest natural lake in CT (1,000 acres) and the ski club is one of the oldest in the northeast.

Meetings are every Wed eve 8pm from mid June until end August.

Northwest is still in semi-business. Don hasn't done a lot of work in awhile.
As for those in the area, I also ski with friends from Tyler lake as well, the Marchands, and I know a few people on Bantam, Ebners/Wilsons, but don't make it over there much. Hopefully with new found friends i'll try harder

To my knowledge don doesn't still have the sponsorship of mastercraft. he got into a real bad snowmoble accident a couple of years ago, long rehab and unable to sell boats lost it i think. that was the rumor around the lake anyhow

Last time I talk to him which dates back 5 years or better we were talking about his sled and all the work he did to it. He always wanted it faster sounds like it came back to haunt him. Thats to bad.

I know a few Marchands. Did you have your boat on Tyler this past summer? I vaguely remember there being a Prostar parked over there at some point.
