I bought a 97 prostar with the Lt1 that was neglected by the previous owner. Picked up lots of good info from this forum for the restoration, many thanks to all. My high pressure fuel pump was sounding bad after a cruise with the wife last night. The suggestion I found to clean out the fuel pump screen was right on! The pump runs good as new after getting the gunk off the screen. I am going to put the fuel filter before the pump where it belongs. Saved a couple hundred on a new pump, man I love the internet.
