I'm ready to finally clean the outside of my boat. The decals I have right now are kind of ratty, so I'd like to replace them with drip molded decals like the newer boats have.

Is this something I can get from my dealer? I seached MYMC, but there weren't any pictures of what they had. Any suggestions?

I know my dealer often (usually) orders his MC's with NO graphics and lets the customer choose what he wants, they order them separately and install them.

Great people, but they were only a little cheaper $$ than the MasterCraft OEM for the same size. Additionally, they can't duplicate any of the trademarked MasterCraft logos - the best they can do is use the non-proprietary HemiHead font, which is pretty different. Given the price difference, I'd opt for OEM if I were trying to get close to factory graphics.

I hate my drip molded stickers. If you bump anything rubber...they pull off.

I just received my drip molded registration stickers from www.wakeside.com. Looking forward to what they look like. they match the Mastercraft logo exactly.

In fact, they apparently get the registration numbers they sell from Domednumbers.com. Those registration numbers at wakeside.com are $109, whereas the same numbers in the same colors and font are $89 if bought directly from Domednumbers.com.

Anyway, HemiHead isn't an exact match for MasterCraft's trademarked font, although some letters may be pretty close.

What are drip molded decals? I was going to have a sign shop cut regular vinyl logos for it. Is this a mistake?

Drip molded decals are the thick clear coated puffy type decals used on the newer boats.
I would guess it all boils down to what YOU want!

PM Mike @ MYMC or go to his website, get his phone # and call him and tell him what you have in mind. I feel sure he can help you out.

Look at the Domed Numbers web site (http://www.domednumbers.com/)- they have a good explanation.

Thanks. The boat is getting ready to have a serious buffing next week where the decals will most likely be coming off. I hope to have the right ones put back on as i have the original graphics that i got from this board a while back. Wish me luck! The silver thin sticker that seperates the red from the white is the one that scares. I hope someone can replicate that one!

87 MC owner,
Are you talking about the stripe that runs down the deck and hull that seperates the colors?
Go to www.sharpeline.com or call 1-800-888-4888 and ask for a catalogue/stripe guide/color charts for SHAPELINE (V.29) and PROSTRIPE (V.45), PROSTRIPE is a division of SHARPLINE. They are the original suppliers of the MC tape stripes, but no longer carry most of the large sizes that was used on the boats, but you can find the same colors and something that will work for you.

Thanks guys for the input. I will take some pictures today of the "before"... might take a while for the "after" as I have to ski all weekend!
