was just watching the MasterCraft Pro Water Ski Championships on OLN in Aspen, Ohio
admittedly, I know less than squat about slalom skiing, but I was watching Wade Cox after his 3@39.5 off pass.....he was talking to the interviewer, holding what else? a dancing banana!!!
he fiddled with a peeled banana during the whole interview....I thought it was hilarious.
I did enjoy seeing the emotion in Andy Mapple after his 2@41 off pass. It brings the sport into different perspective, that's for sure. He was talking about all the new young blood in the sport.
Then watched Jamie Beauchene fail for 3@41 off, so he tied Mapple....in his interview he didn't display much emotion, .
so, I'm surmising that Andy Mapple is the true spirit of the sport.
He won the runoff against Jamie with 2@41 off to win the Championship.
this is the first ski championship I've watched and I enjoyed it.
oh yeah, the MC commercials were cool too
