The last week or so (so I hear, I was traveling) have been very warm. We decided to take the boat to the lake today not sure on how warm or cold the water would be.

There were lots of people there and it was simply beautiful out!

We would have gone wakeboarding but our spotter couldn't make it and my 15 month old wasn't up to the task.

The water was 72 degrees which surprised the heck out of me.

Oh, and this guy was ripping it up! Twin 502s and it was FAST! Cool guy. We chatted for a bit and I asked him if he wanted a quick vid of his boat racing by. He was quick to say "SURE!"

Listen & see what $250,000 can get you

Badazz! (http://www.corvetteforum.net/c4/chrismaynard/badazz1.wmv) (16mb)

WOW, 84 air/72 water! We won't see that for another 2 months! :(

Yeah, I grew 2 spotters (13 and 4) so I won't go stir-crazy when the weather's perfect for riding.

I had my thrill with a fast boat, but after a few years it actually gets a bit boring going straight and fast. Not to mention burning 125 gals. of gas in one day. (5 hours of hard running actually) One of my passengers broke his toe when we landed hard off a wave, if you can imagine that!

Sony HDR-HC3 1080i camcorder.

I used Pinnacle 10.5 .

BTW: That video is seriously down-sampled and compressed for the Internet. The original looks much, much better.
