Does anyone have a picture of a stock folded tower on an '07 boat or an '06, if they are the same. I still haven't seen my boat (waiting on graphics) and I have never seen a tower folded down. I am trying to envision it and also the possibility of raising my garage header to get it to fit inside when I pick it up.

Thanks

Here are pictures of my x1 folded. I had to remove only the trim on the garage.

Hey thanks trickskier for your original pictures. I would have never got her in without seeing how you did it. My tower is different and presents a problem -- seems the rear storage does not want to really open enough to allow the tower in (easily). I have to open them up wider than they want to go.

This is only needed to go through garage. Then I move the tower out of the rear storage area. I looked at the hinges on the side storage, they have hex heads on them. So I am gonna try to unscrew the hinges next time. Hopefully this will work

Actually, I have to disconnect the shock on the right side to get the compartment door to open wide enough to allow the tower to fit in...

You just need a small flathead screwdriver. Just be careful not to pry too hard or the retaining clip will fly off.

Ahh, things are clear now, but I doubt it is going to help. I think my 7' door is going to become an 8' door. I don't have an exact measurement on the height of a folded X-15, but I think it's a bit taller than an X-1 and a bit taller than my garage door will allow. I was supposed to pick it up Saturday and then was told it wouldn't be ready until today. I work this coming Saturday so it probably won't get picked up until the following (31st) now. I can only look at the same pictures on the internet for so long....

I struggled with folding/not folding the tower on my 06 X2 for winter storage. Why is this not in the Owner's manual?

I fold my 06 X2 Tower to get it in the garage. Once it's in there I put the tower back up. I don't like the way the tower puts an indention in the back sun pad.
