Somebody mentioned using duck tape earlier today to fix a cell phone and that got me thinkin. Have you ever used duck tape to fix you ski equipment or boat either temporary or permanent?

I know I couldn't toob without it in the boat. My friend with a boat of another name brand uses it to hold his together.

The pros use it on their injuries...ankle sprains, ripped skin, ect. Sounds like a cure-all to me!

Works great on your hands to stop blisters from skiing!

I have had bindings blow out on landings in the flats and I have used it to "put them back together" for the day.

I'm sure I have used duck tape for just about any temporary fix. I keep a roll of it in the back of my truck. I keep a thick roll of electrical tape in my boat, it works pretty good to secure things if needed.

reminds me of a joke about DUCT TAPE.........

Ol' grandpa sitting on his porch, smoking his clay-pipe,rocking back and forth(sorry if this is stereotypical chaps...see bubba thread)....along comes a small boy with some chicken wire......"what ya doin' wit that chicken wire boy" says gramps...."i's gonna get me some chicken sir"....says the young lad....."yall never catch any with that" was the chorlted reply............half hour later ,boy comes back with a brace of fine hens.........
next, the boy walks passed with some duct tape.....again the toothless ol'timer laughs and asks why he has the duct tape......the boy replies that it is for catching ducks......the gramps laughs with disdain once again........half an hour passes and the young lad trots past with a fine drake under his arm...the grandad is amazed.......an hour passes and the boy walks past with some pussy willow.....the ol'boy springs to his feet drops his pipe, treads on his trusty coon hound and shouts after the boy........"hold up,,,i'm coming with ya":D
