There is, but not much. That 50 degree SUNNY weather knocked it down considerably. WOW, the weather here is a trip. 10 days ago, snow storm, last three days in the 50s' I saw 3 guys go buy riding on pavement near the dealership on sleds on friday, they didnt look too happy. :( I am sure there is snow in the woods to ride on, but its really melted alot.

Not too late to snow.

Sorry, but someone had to be the voice of reality. I was supposed to be in a golf meet in high school and it was snowed out, in the middle of April.

TRU DAT Jim! Hey, we have a MAJOR snowfall in May last year. I think it was around the 12th or so. Crazy! there was like 6 inches of snow in one night! It all melted the next day, but it was nutz!

We get a lot of lake effect snow around here. It's melting down, but the piles were big and it has quite a way to go yet. The lake is still frozen too. :(

This morning I saw two guys on sleds in the ditch get passed by two guys on motorcycles on the road. The ice won't be off our lake until April 21 (+/- 7 days). Late March/early April is always a confusing time of year up here.

Inevitably, someone will post here that THEIR boat is already in the water etc etc. Yes, yes...we know...early spring is always a crappy time of year here - I'd just as soon we eliminated it altogether. But many or most of us northerners live here by choice. We pick this climate because we LIKE winter and don't like alligators, earthquakes, mudslides, hurricanes, tornadoes, stifling heat/humidity and trailering our boats long distances. Even so, I confess I wouldn't mind if the transition from winter to summer were a little shorter.

We boarded in shorts on Sat. The lake was 67 degrees and the air was 85. It was a bit chilly, a heater top would have been nice, but we managed to be ok.
