I am not suprised that the Obrien Syncro got straight A's. That is one great ski that can do it all.

I am a little surprised by that. The Syncro is a regular "off the shelf" waterski that can be purchased at any sporting goods store, whereas other ski's like the Nitro, can only be purchased from "pro-shop" type stores, for MUCH more money. I've stated previously that I don't put a lot of stock into these tests, but it really does suprise me that the ski I just got for running the course is considered "not for the slalom course".

Just ordered a Connelly F1X. This is my first new ski in years and I am thrilled!

I've got a friend that skis 32 off on a Synchro! He quit using his Monza after trying it.

I still think all those ski tests are highly questionable in their results. There seems to be no continuity in them from year to year. I have a hard time putting faith in them.

This year John Horton and crew are using my lake to test the new skis. It all begins next week but I won't be able to attend. I am sure you will be seeing the results when they come in. John seems to post on here when he is finished testing.
