Well, I finally caved today and got up on the slalom on my 3rd try!

Beautiful day on the river, 83 degrees, plenty of mad fisherman and only saw two ski boats!

Me on the slalom.

Looks like a great day on the river! It'll be three more months till we see 83 degrees...but I know it's coming. Do me a favor........next time you take the boat out, load it up with some hot Slimmies, so I can live vicariously thru you:D

What was the water temp? I noticed no wet suits. My last ride on the river was the first weekend in November and I am ready to get back out.

Surface water temp. was probably 60-65 degrees? I don't have a gauge in my boat. I don't do the whole wetsuit / drysuit thing (I'm a wuss), I have a 2mm neoprene top that is very warm. I really only noticed the water being cold the second time I got in.

Be careful in the river if you go, it's still about 7 feet low!

Did you launch at T-Top? I nicked my prop there the last time out since the water was soo low. Hopefully we get a wet month in March to fill up the lake and rivers or it will be a tough summer for boating,

Heck no, I only go to TT in other folks boat, and during the week. I bet TT was a madhouse today with the weather being as it was. The water level at TT is nothing compared to the river down south, freeeeaking constant level Lake Granbury keeps the river low where I put in.

We do need rain... I have already looked into moving my boat up to Lake Worth as a contingency plan for the summer. :( Geez, I just looked at your profile, I will look out for your monster boat on the water this summer.

I went out two weeks ago, the water temp at Lake Corpus Christi was in the mid 50s. I'm going to wait a little while longer, while it was fun to say I went out, it wasn't very much fun. It was more of a need to get the boat out and chill out on the water!

Looks like so much fun. Today we went and looked at one of our favorite places to boat and ski. It was frozen and people were out there ice fishing.

It was 85 air/68 water where I was Saturday. It was nice but it wasn't river nice. We actually rode in trunks minus heater tops. It had a little bite when we first got in but after getting a little sweat going the water actually felt nice.
