The National Association of Recording Merchandisers and the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame have selected the Top 200 Albums. What do you think???

I've always thought Abbey Road was the best Beatles album. Surprised Neither Revolver nor the "White Album" is nowhere in the top twenty.

Edit. I also think that putting the Beastie Boys' Licence to Ill ahead of Paul's Boutique strips this list of all credibility (at least in my book that no one will read). :)

Another edit. I think it's safe to say that I disagree with this list in its entirety. 8p I think I came to this realization when they put Def Leppard's Hysteria ahead of the "White Album."

Communism.... pure and simple Communism

///You know what the more I look at this the more it is really upsetting. Who in their right mind puts Shania Twain on this list and especially at #27

I don't totally agree with this one either, but I like it better.

I didnt look at either list and I can tell you now taht both of them are garbage. I have never seen ONE of those top 100 whatever lists that have been close to accurate of the public opinion, hence my call as the poll czar. I am the voice of the people, hear us roar.

One major flaw with the VH1 list is that I didn't even see Zeppelin IV even on the list. That album was by far their best album even if you disregard Stairway to Heaven

Well, maybe not by far, but it was a great album

Sorry, maybe I'm just a Zeppelin fan, but I can listen to IV over and over. But you can't count my opinion because I don't like the beatles when so much of the world does

See, I like their first album much, much better. For me, they never topped Good times, Bad times.

I heard them talkin about this yesterday on WGN radio in Chicago that is where I found out about this list and the callers were sayin pretty much the same things as alot of you are. So you all know more about this than I do, what did they base this on do you think?
