I have looked and no seems to have a answer for the piece on the engine box that screws into the box that holds the cupholders. I have my boat at the upholster now and tried to fix my old one, (fiberglass, and matt, it did not stick). I am out of ideas, i have seen the custom ones on here and they look great, but have already paid, and agreed to terms with the shop, i need a new piece. Any help or direction would be much helped, Thanks in advance for the help.

Ks,

I've got the same problem. 90 Maristar 240sc . Is yours vinyl over really brittle heat baked molded plastic? I was planning on a thin layer of fiberglass over the backside. Peeling off the vinyl and glassing the front side. then sanding and filling until I get the proper profile. Then I'll re-glue on the vinyl.

Later,

Matt

PS How's Kansas these days? I'm from KC, went to Baker U and spent the best fishing days of my life on a buddies ranch in Alma. Been gone for 5 years now, sure miss the fishing. AZ fishing sucks!

He has one left it is not the same as the one on my boat, the fiberglass over the plastic will not work, it wont bond. I am going to make a mold out of the one i have, it is gonna take a ton of work, but it is already at the upholster and i have to fix it some how. Thanks for the help, i cant believe this is the only source for such a part but seems that way.
