I got the whole office in a pool for $10 each. $355,000,000/8= $44,375,000 each, minus the 50% they take for taxes.... I think I could live with $22,187,500!!!

I just worked out the interest in one of those ING Direct accounts @ 4.5% interest... if you did not touch the winnings and put it directly into this FDIC insured account, you would make $998,437.50 per year on interest....

How SWEET would retirement be at age 24!!!! HA HA HA HA

When they start the house at the lake with a BIG garage, we would visit Trailers of the East Coast and order our rig simular to this to travel in during the winter months. All this after a visit to MC to set up the construction of a PS 190 like the world has never seen, sitting on a polished S/S trailer.
http://www.trailersoftheeastcoast.com/ I believe they would have something that we could enjoy!

I'd donate 35mil (bond) to our town so they could build a high school that would of course bear my name:D Would buy out my neighbors at our lake and build one pimp lakehouse. Boat lifts for my new TT 197, and new pontoon boat.........That's it!

I would do like this guy did. He won 85 mil and 18 months later he is worth approx 128 mil. After 18 months I think I would retire and build my dream house (under 1.8 mil on lakefront property). Then I would manage my investments until I reached 1 billion.

Wow that's great you almost never hear about stuff like that with the majority of lottery winners.

Too Cool!!! I would like to do the same thing... especially, be able to help out my family. I can guarantee you though, I would not be buying bikes and Jettas, I would however keep my current car and boat I have on order and just sit tight for a while. Blowing the whole stash straight out of the gate is dumb and can get anyone in trouble....

I think I would try to sit on it for awhile, I know it would be hard but has anyone heard the stats of how many end up going bellyup after winning lotterys!!!

On the downside, via a discussion with the wife... You'd have to pull the kids from school, and hire some security. With all the nutcases in the world, and your name being plastered in every newspaper and news show in the US, My biggest fear is somebody trying to kidnap the children for a payday....
Add a big freakin fence to my wishlist...

Very true! I think I would give someone the power of attorney to pick the check up. Most people who win, want the 15 minutes of fame, but that is that last thing I would want!!

They show a lump sum payout of $221 million on the Ohio Lottery web-site.

....or approximately 27.62 million to the eight people that are in our office pool.

Let's see, that's $500,000 per year for the next 55 years or roughly $1,370 per day. I could probably handle it.

That would be a new X-45, X-14 (or X-7), and X-Star for me!
