Is it true that Water Sports Marine is being taken over by Action Water Sports because of money problems? I heard this straight from both dealers. Just so you know...

I'm not familiar with Water Sports Marine. I think that is on the other side of the state from Grand Rapids.

I do know that we go to Action Water Sports for all our MasterCraft related needs and they have provided good service. They have been good to our show ski team as well.

Action Water has purchased Water Sports Marine. They now have three locations. They are great people who truly care and do not want to just sell you a boat. Great group as many of us here know.

I am glad to hear that you have had a good experience at Action. I had one phone call in to Watersports and was on hold forever. Now this may have just been a chance happening but it was my only experience. I have heard good things about them though as well. I hope for some MC swag from the Spring Boat Show in Novi at the Rock Finanicial Expo.

Not WaterSports!!!!!! They were fantastic to me and everybody I know! I would have closed the Waterford store first.

I heard they are consolidating both stores to one location on US23 and White Lake Road. Not exactly around the corner any more!

hmmm that would be interesting! They are supposed to be at the Spring Boat show that I am going to next week and plan on stopping in their booth. I will ask them what they are doing!

I agree Action has been great for everything we've ever bought!!
Don't worry Fenton people they won't let you down!

Agreed - I have several stories of them going above and beyond for me. Wait until you pick up the boat in spring - they even "dress" the tires on the trailer. Something you don't find often....

Okay, I don't know what you're talking about, but I won't ask, so I get a "suprise".

I think he is referring to armoralling the tires. They sound like great people!

Has Action already taken over the dealerships?

Talked to Watersports Fenton yesterday. They called it a merger, and the new company is going to be called Action Watersports. Waterford store is going to close. BUT, a brand new state of the art facility is going to be built on the east side of silver lake, right on US23. So take that Mr. Natique dealer, LOL

Wow that sounds cool. GLad to hear they aren't leaving the area. I also noticed when I looked at Aqua Sport's website they weren't selling new MCs anymore. Disappointing! Maybe with Action getting involved new mc will be back!!

Recently purchased a 2007 X15 from Troy at Watersports Marine (Now Action Watersports). Troy and his staff were nothing short of fantastic! Great folks.

Can't wait to put the boat in the water.

That looks like the number 3 tow boat from our ski team. It looks an awful lot like a picture I took at the Lake Odessa Show that is posted on our teams web page. Could it be????????????????????

ProTour X9
03-18-2007, 04:46 PM
It is, and I'm 98% sure it was our old boat. It looks like its been worked on.

Bruce our driver was the orignial owner for many years. He sold it to a family member and then bought it back a few years later and restored it. Would you be that family member?

ProTour X9
03-18-2007, 04:53 PM
No we sold it to that family member.

I've heard that story once before, somewhere........

suedv
03-18-2007, 04:57 PM
Cool. Bruce says it's a one of a kind color scheme because the red and white is reversed. I'm sure that's how you spotted it.

03-18-2007, 05:05 PM
NO didn't you hear the story?
We ordered it like TMCNo1's boat but MC messed up, so we went to the factory to test it out, originally it had a black MC sticker but we switched it to white. Oh and that boat pulled 14 skiers on our lake, it probably pulled more of you guys.

No we sold it to that family member.
We sold it to Bruce G. in 93-94**

I PM'd you, and how is that boat doing?

suedv
03-18-2007, 05:38 PM
It's still a nice boat. However, I can't say it's the best to take picture from. The Safe-T-Top and net get in the way. When I've taken pictures from that boat I sit on the floor behind the engine cover, but then I'm too low for some photos. I get to much water spray in the pictures.

ProTour X9
03-18-2007, 05:42 PM
Yes, the Safe-T-Tops a.k.a 'OUCH MY HEAD' do get in the way.
