Not in Tucson but lived there five years. Graduated from the U of A and then spent a couple of more years there. I miss Tucson and would have never left if it were not for my wife. Go Cats!

Oh and welcome aboard.

I was there in october
I like Tucson
What an eye opening experience... I never stopped to study a place like tucson for myself and simply assumed it would be flat dusty desert. what a surprise to see the mountains and things to do. It is not like Rasin Arizona at all (at least not most of it)

How far away are Havasu, Parker, and the lower Colorado?

Wow,

So I'm not the only idiot to drag my MC to Tucson. I've been here in Oro Valley (NW Tucson) since 8/2002. The lakes are okay, but the fishing sucks! Compared to MO, KS and AR.

No lakes around Tucson. Up around Phoenix there are 3 larger lakes and a couple of smaller ones.

That pic (if the link works) is from Roosevelt Lake East of Phoenix. Pic was taken 3rd weekend in October! Gotta like the long season. 2 hours door to door.

Havasu is 5 hours, Mohave 6, canyon 2, Pleasant 2, Elephant Butte 6, Powell 8, Mead 7.

Sea of Cortez 3.5 (haven't tried that yet).

Boyson, what part of town are you in? There is an early 90's red v-drive with a tower over off Shanon North of Overton.

And yes that is a brand new Moomba being towed in by a POS bayliner in the background of my pic.

My family just bought a 03 Maristar 210. We are using it at our lakehouse in the summer but hopefully we'll trailer it back to use at Bartlett Lake being that I live in North Scottsdale.

I drove up there but haven't actually been on it. it has a nice little marina and boat club. Bad quality picture.

When I lived in Tucson I always made the hike to Havasu or Powell although I visited Roosevelt once. Lake Powell has got to be the most gorgeous lake in the country IMHO.
