Here is a aerial photograph of Lake Cumberland (http://terraserver.microsoft.com/image.aspx?T=1&S=14&Z=16&X=220&Y=1281&W=3&qs=%7csomerset%7ckentucky) where I ski. The marina is to the right and the two creeks where we mainly ski can be seen above the Marina and to the left. See if you can find your lake on this site. :headbang:

This is where I mainly ski in the Allegheney (http://terraserver.microsoft.com/image.aspx?T=1&S=14&Z=17&X=195&Y=1412&W=3&qs=%7ckittanning%7cpa%7c).
Lots of good skiing areas. Because of the way the river winds, if the wind has the water kicked up, just go up or down river around the bend and you can probobly fine smooth water.
Zoom in and check out the man made cove in about the center of the picture. On any given summer weekend you can find up 100 boats in there relaxing. Better yet, I have used it as a ski lake during weekdays.

if yo want to see something wild, punch in the street you live on. Now if they can do that, they can see you anytime they want. not my fault if they get an eyefull

I have been using this web site for a year or 2 and have most of my stomping grounds bookmarked.
The feature where you can enter the address must be fairly new.
Kind of scary, if you put in the street address, it puts the pinpoint right at the end of your driveway!

Nice looking pond Leroy! We have to get Hoosier Bob down there for some skiing. I bet it's a mad house on the week-end though :wavey:

Most of the satellite photos on that site are 5 to 10 years old.

The pic of Sammamish is only a couple yrs old & in full color. But shot of Liberty is from 1992 & black/white. So it probably has something to do with population.

If you look real close, I think you can see a skier on a short line.

I've never seen him on the lake. His house doesn't even have a dock unless somehow it's hidden.

Nick Saban, Vince Dooley and Chan Gailey are on Burton. Haven't seen any of them on the water. The peak lake season is not in sync with a football coach's schedule. I am wondering if Saban will keep the house since he is going south.

Here's my trailer.... best part of being on a river, lots of bends. If the wind kicks up, move around the next turn. we have about 10 miles of ski'able water... Good stuff.

Farmer, you may get to pull the Tool Man this summer. ;) Conway is really close to our summer haven, he could get there before us  ?? You may need to put a Motorguide on the 98', so the Tool man can do some trolling :D !!
