Here's a similar picture from another proud father. 7 year old with the leap and the recovery! Not quite the same vertical, but she did come down with the ball.

That is some jump Milkmania and he looks taller than anyone by 6 inches!

Way to go Bongo, great pix.

My 9 yr old daughter is playing basketball for the first time this season so I can relate. :)

my kids are abnormally taller than their peers by 6 inches....
my daughter just turned 9 in December.....she's 4'11"
my other little boy is 19, 6'5" 285 lbs.
I can't stretch past 5'9" myself, and with all my back problems, I'm getting shorter:rant:

Sorry for a hijack of your thread, but it is somewhat basketball related.
This 6-foot-3, 410-pound "kid" is in one of my daughters class's. Believe it of not, he is pretty good at basketball.

And yes Mark, that is 4 of your locals trying to defend him.

Milkmania, it looks like you will be attending a lot of bball games for the next 12 years or so. Looks like he will be a player!

my oldest son had too many knee problems to be worty of baskerball, but he still tried. too many hyper-extensions of his knees:(
