Happy Birthday to you Rex!
:) :) :)

Rex's Mom is having heart surgery this morning. If you all could send your positive thoughts and prayers toward Southern California I know both he and his family would really appreciate it.

I would like to thank the TT family for all the
“positive thoughts and prayers"

It was a very long day 7 hrs in surgery for my mom; she will be good as new !!!!!
In a 2 weeks or so
Like my dad said yesterday
“As long as you are on the right side of the grass, you will be ok”:D

Thank You All……….

Happy Birthday Rex.

Best of luck to your mom. My thougths and prayers will be with her.

My dad just went through open heart surgery (5 bypass) and a subsequent cath with 2 angioplasty and 1 stent. It will be a long recovery for your mom as most open heart surgery patients don't feel 100% for 3-6mos.

Happy b-day. Good luck with your mom too. We've been through about 6 surgeries with the mother in-law in 3 years. It's tough, but hang in there.

Lifting restriction of <15lbs for 8 weeks.

Getting bloodpressure meds and post-op heart health meds under control has been difficult.

The lifestyle change (eating habits) as a result of the post op couseling was a great change for my mom and my dad. Both eat horribly and have realized significant weight loss as a result of following the post-op eating guidelines.

Since my dad is on a rehab exercise regime, my mom has started exercising, too.

In the end, it has been rough on my dad, but has been a good thing for both of them from a healthy living standpoint.
