Did you mean "slalom course" or "salmon course"? ;)

Is that on your lake footr? Do you have an address so I can Mapquest/Google Earth it? We were thinking about investing in some property, mainly for investment purposes. Being on a ski lake would be a bonus. :)

Not out here!

No gators, no poisonous snakes, no leaches nada.... just the occasional Blue Gill fish nibbling on the hairs of your leg.

I would be nervous all the damn time if I knew there were things in the lake that could kill me other than the water.

Not soon enough my friend. I used to do business with a company named Haven Mfg. in Brunswick. I liked it so much I went back for vacation and stayed at the K & P. Played golf on Saint Simons island (I think that's the name). It was a memorable trip.

Now go ahead and tell me how warm it is there today since it freezing rain and 29 here:D

Sorry about the threadjack....

Mid 70's today, but w/ rain.:( The next time you come here, give me a little notice and I will get us on one of the Sea Island courses. In case you're not aware, they are in the top ten of the resorts in the WORLD. I have got a pretty good connection there. And you were right, it is called St. Simons Island, or 'The Island' LOL.

Do they pretty much stay away from you or do you have to be wary of them?

As far as I know there has never been any gator attacks around here. If you just stay away from them, they won't bother you. If its mating season, that might be another story though. The one in my pic was in the SMALL pond at the entrance to our SD. He established his domain early, and no other gators bothered to challange him.

When I went foot'n w/ ATL and JIM@BAWS, it was my first time on the lakes in FL. I was a bit nervous to say the least....."Did I mention I like my pulls hot, no need to wait for the slack to be out of the line."

When I hit the water, just go :)

So it's been established that mating season is in the Spring. How exactly do you know when it starts and when it's over?
