I finally got them cleaned up this morning after 7 weeks of all this nasty weather. 72 degrees today, then the wind @ 40 to 50 mph with warnings this afternoon and tonight.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, the Monte Carlo?

I've got a 1989 Toyota Supra Turbo, someday I'll take a pic with a digital camera and post it. It's pretty quick! We also have a '96 Toyota LandCruiser, the wife's car. Someday I'll get it into it's element - off road! It tows the MC quite well also.
Ironically, the 3 vehicles I drive (I drive a Trailblazer company truck) all have in-line 6 cylinders. All great engines - so smooth. :steering:

Got it from a dealer in Island Lake IL, he is a fleetwood dealer but had this one in on trade. Picked it up Jan 02, its a 2000 model, and it only had 6000 miles on it when I got it. It has a Cummins 8.3 LT with 1050 lbs of torque. It does a nice job hauling the boat. Don't even know its back there until you have to go around a corner. Its is almost 70' long with the boat.

Good lookin rig, my farm partners brother is from Denver and he sells them for an outfit out of Oklahoma City, OK. Believe it or not Harold, I had an insured stop at McD's for a burger to come back out and find his septic tank pump truck gone.. Of course he called it in.. The cops had to chase the guy from Shelby to Boone... about 90 miles.. Moral to the story.. even crappy trucks are not safe;)

Beside the fact that it is just an average car mine has too much salt on the sides of it right now to even bother taking a picture. I drive a 1999 Lumina.

Rick drives a Silverado part of the time, but for just going around town for this and that he drives a 1986 Pontiac Sunbird. That car sips gas compared to the truck. I bought it from a guy I work with for $200. It has manual everything, but it only had 67,000 miles and no rust. We've had it for going on 2 years and it basically never needs repairs. It's a great cheap car to run.

By the way I picked out his truck too. I bought that from a construction contractor I used to work with when it was going off a lease.

I like to look for vehicles.

Yeah, it would look cool, but I'll leave the towing to the trucks. I'm not sure but I don't think the car is rated for any significant towing.

Funny story how I got the car. At the time, dealers were marking these cars UP in price over the sticker price. But my credit union had a promotion with a local Chevy dealer (and other dealerships) for its members to buy cars for $100 over invoice. After I complained to the credit union that they wouldn't sell the Impala to me at that price, the salesman called me a few days later and told me I could have it. When I went to pick it up, they clearly were not pleased... 8p
