Please keep my brother-in-law Jim and sister-in-law Judy in your thoughts and prayers as our familes are mourning the loss our their 4 month old Jorie.

Now sure exactly what the cause of death was but SIDS is currently on the top of the list. However, at this moment, the medical examiner has not released his report yet for reaons unknown so we are all waiting for that patiently.

Jorie was blessing for us all for 4 months and couldn't have brought any more joy into our lives than she did.

Everything happened in 24 hours and life will never be the same for us.

We wish "Little 2" as she was called peace and happiness...

Thanks everyone...

Rockman,

Tell them they are in my thoughts and prayers. My son Tyler would be sixteen if he were still alive today but he died from SIDS at the age of three months. I feel thier pain.

very very sorry to hear that. It always hurts the most when the most innocent among us are "called up to God".

Our family will pray for your brother & sis-n-law.

I can't think of anything that I could write that can express how truly sorry we are to hear this news. God bless you all...

What's ironic is we have to draw on faith the most...at a time when any reasonable person has to be angy and confused about why terrible things happen to wonderful children - and people...I don't understand

Rockman,

Like most I lack the words to help ease your pain. I pray that God will wrap his loving arms around you and your family and give you peace and comfort. I know that at this time little Jorie is being held safely in those arms.

Thanks everyone for your replies and prayers.

I am going to rpint out the thread at the end of this week and forward it onto them.

PS-I forgot to mention in the initial post but Jorie is also the cousin of another TMC Member...SassyDog. I hadn't mentioned it in the initial post as I was rushed to get the thread up.

Prayers headed your way Rockman...that's gotta be a tough situation. Some friends of ours lost their 3 month baby girl to SIDS...but that didn't stop them because they now have 3 kids!

Also my older brother's twin died shortly after birth, and having twins was my mothers dream at the time! My brother has had some hard times growing up and we always thought that it had something to do with him not having his twin brother around? But we really will not ever know...he is a bit backwards though, treating his friends like family and his family like friends.

Then my parents tried again and they had me...to bad for them ;)

On behalf of Jim and Judy and both sides of the families, I would like to send out a BIG Thank You to everyone here on the board who dropped us a post or PM.

I printed our the thread and got it over to Jim and Judy last week. After reading it, they were in tears to say the least. There was a memorial serviced last Saturday (3/3/07) and there were about 260 in attendance...awesome considering the room only held about 100 people.

Jim and Judy wanted me to let everyone know on the board that are so thankful for all the support and prayers that have come there way. Sometimes you really don't know exactly how many people are out there for you until something like this happens. Not the best way of finiding out...but anyways. It has brought them comfort that was definitely needed.

Thanks fellow TMC Members for all your thoughts and prayers. As we begin to adjust our lives going forward, know that your thoughts and prayers have been most graciously accepted.

Thanks again...

Rockman for Jim and Judy
