Try joining a Chevy forum, I'm a member of the Avalance fan club.

www.chevyavalanchefanclub.com

People on that forum are always asking and getting GSM #s for the rebate/discount

Its no hassle. But, I dont know if you can pass it up or not..... thats a personal opinion. I know there are have been times that dealers in some metro areas that sell vehicles at GMS price to anyone, regardless if they actually get the discount or not, just to move iron off the lot. Depends on supply & demand I guess, but it does happen. But they will try to load you up with lots of money makers after that......service contracts, life insurance, etc....

I dont know, but if there is, please tell me! I think I need a new truck!:D

Actually, I would really like the "Hooker Package" that would suit me better, being a gigalo and all.

Supplier or Employee?

Sometimes you can get a better deal with out GMS pricing. If you go in with a GMS# that's your deal - no more. If you go in without a GMS# in most cases you can get a better deal. If not go up the street until someone does.........

What the heck is GMS# and a GSU# ?
if I'm not mistaking....
it's a program that the auto manufacturers use to give a little back to the people that help with the manufacturing process.......

I believe the railroad is eligible because they haul the auto parts in.....etc....

googled it
andit appearsthat GMS is for employees (working or retired) & their families

and GMSupplier may be for the people that help with manufacture....
kinda vague, but here's a little discussion about it
