Do you think a permanent marker would be safe to darken up faded "mastercraft" and "Xstar" logos stitched into the seats?

maybe... Might bleed though... And eventually the sun will fade it again anyway...

I used permanent marker on stiching and it worked well. Just take your time and let the stiching absorb the ink.
