I haven't seen this posted here yet, but I may have missed it.

Mastercraft is no longer providing replacement vinyl upholstery for any model older than '99-'00ish. I knew it wasn't possible to get color matched skins, but last year I was able to get skins for my '93 in the solid base color. Unfortunately, when I tried to get a few more skins this year, I was told that it is not possible to place an order for the older boats.

Does anyone know what brand of vinyl was used for the replacement skins that were previously available? I'd like to match the few pieces I've already bought if I have to go custom and I'd like to order the same brand vinyl to have them made.

All I know so far is that it is a 38oz foam backed marine vinyl. Any help would be appreciated.

I believe it is made by G&T and sold in bulk to the boat manufacturers. I've never had any success getting a vinyl retail that completely matched as far as feel goes.

I just went throught this same thing. They don't make vinyl that will match EXACTLY anymore. You can get close on color, but texture will be slightly different. I ended up opting to recover everything. ATLFOOTR's contact in Tenn. is recovering all of my upholstry this winter. ATL's pictures show good work and it was at the right price, so we'll see how they come out. I have a lot of confidence seeing that this guy worked at Mastercraft in the upholstry dept for 10+ yrs.
