It happens every year about this time up in the north. Tired of snow and ice  and ready for some boatin'.

What do you all do to pass the winter months. I do some snow skiing and power sledding and try to keep the kids busy. What's some of your favorite winter activities.

Went and skied on a power plant lake (80 degree water) with some local wakeboarders. I needed it. They were nice and let me ride before they loaded up the ballast tanks.

Was that you on DWB getting riders for Sunday?

FOCUS

I spend the winter Wakeboarding, I live in Texas.:D I don't hit the water very much :( (1-2 a month) so I spend the winter working out, reading, and trying not to take my frustration out on my fiance. I can accomplish the first two with ease it's the latter than proves troublesome.

What's DWB? I know the guy I went with is on Planet Nautique and had a post over there. But he and I have talked before, so I found out about it by email.

/edit. Is it Dallas Wake Boarders? Probably not him. Most of the people were from in and around Tyler. Pirkey's a little far from Dallas for a day trip.

work out, watch skiing dvd's and look for places to dig a lake! Warmer weather can't get here fast enough...

DallasWakeboarding.com There was a group talking about it. They were at Pirkey on Sunday. Here is the "find a pull" post on DWB.com (http://www.dallaswakeboarding.com/index.php?option=com_forum&Itemid=26&page=viewtopic&t=8464)

Look at garden books, take pictures, try to organize the over abundance of pictures I've taken, watch movies.
