Curious - I just purchased a 2007 Yukon. Wondering what size drop you guys use for Yukon/Denali/Suburban/Slade? 1", 2"???? Thanks!

I am actually using a standard receiver flipped upside down for about a 3/4" rise on my '07 Avalanche. Makes the trailer of my '97 perfectly level.

Isn't that hard on the roof of your truck.

Uhhh no. I have one of the ball mounts that is pretty much flat. Just looked it is a Draw Tight that gives a 3/4" rise. Positioned the other way it gives a 2" drop. Here is a picture.

Doesn't the owner's manual recommend a hitch height?

I would think the best way to figure this out would be to jack-up the trailer on its stand until trailer is level, back up the truck until its close to the coupler and do some measuring. Not all trailers/trucks are the same. Make sure you don't go too high with the ball mount or you'll be hitting your prop guard too easily. Too low and you'll be hitting the spare tire on the ground on boat ramps.

It's a fine line sometimes. :D

2007 Denali, 2007 2500???

15 in rims or 14 in TANDEM for your trailer

2500 needs a 2 in drop

standard BURB 2 wheel drive slight drop
