Ok:confused: here we go. I was an industrial fabricator for 30 years fabricating all sorts of machinery along with all sorts of prototypes that are being used today in many industries. Well tonight my wife made some awsome split-pea soup with ham shanks, of course there was even cornbread.
Well, while picking up i noticed the dried peas in the package that were split in half. So i said to her, "wow i wonder what the machine looks like that splits these little things in half?"
She then looked at me and said, "here's your sign, they crack in half when they dry out."
Who knows for sure?

Now that's funny! Probably the same way peanuts break in half!

Ramhouse- here's your assignment for tomorrow, if you accept it. Let some peas sit out to dry and you have to watch them, documenting any changes that you observe.

I did thought of doing the same. I do accept the mission. Today i picked up some fresh beans and removed them from the pods and placed them on the window sile. Progress will be noted......
