From what I understand, there are persons on here from time to time who have the ability to moderate and the ability to use the "Magic Buttons" without being a Moderator. Personally, I prefer to play it safe and not give them the ability to exercise their abilities. Also the Moderators can be in the Invisible mode. Please, just think about it! If you think something could be questionable or controversial and could jeopardize your privilege of using this site, Please, DON'T POST IT!

Doug and I both choose to be invisible so even when we are online, you wouldn't know it. ;)

If I understand that correctly, you're probably right. Beau and I can see all the invisible people on here. But I don't know that it's possible from the user side of the equation---that is, our accounts are setup by admin so we can see the people cruising in Wonder Woman's jet so to speak.

Oh, and as to my "cat-like" reflexes, I just blame your online clock. No matter what I do, mine is about an hour fast (and I've tried to mess with the DST controls).

Good question. My short answer is that we have no such powers. My bandaid is that google toolbar has a spellchecker built into it.

Are you running the latest version of IE or Mozilla?

I am using Mozilla 2.0 and it has spell check. It shows misspelled words with a red line under them just like Word would.

By the way, I did not mean to post my question twice. The first time I was posting the server bit the dust. I didnt realize it posted.

I didnt know if it was like a referral someone may get for fighting on the bus or something.

Nothing, except it has it's own thread and is stickied to the top of the general and off topic folders. I unstuck the "please read this" thread and linked to it in the posting guidelines thread under the subheading of "be nice."

Yeah, I got a few concerned emails when I posted those. But there was absolutely no external reason for posting it. Just wanted to give it existence outside the FAQ in the two most active folders. I also thought it was well past time that the "Please Read" thread disappear.
