This could be very very bad. Hope knowone has a boat there. Sounds like if they don't get there boats out they will be left on the ground when the water goes down. Dosen't Mag have a House Boat there?

They have been saying that the dam is going to break as long as I can remember.

Cumberland is a HUGE lake, and they can raise/lower the depths over 40 feet before you need to be worried.

With that said, let us know if you need anything Mag.... :(

No offense but if you lowered it 40' then let the dam go you are still in deep water and so will all below. The cumberland River in Nashville is decent size but not huge by any means. At the dam is it not 250-350'? 40' is a drop. Nashville would be in serious do do if it were to break.:o

I lied, 200' and 101 miles of it! Average depth is 90' and 101 miles of it! If it goes there will be more to worry about than Nashville!

Not worried yet about the water levels. Last year it was lowered about 40' and we had no problem at Lee's Ford Marina. Was sort of freaky though, as there wasn't as much distance between the dock and the shore in some places. There are a few marinas though that would be left high and dry though if the lake were lowered more than that. Where my boat sits it's 70' deep in normal pool. Sure would be easier to set up the course in some shallower water:D Here's the dam in question...........

Mag-will this effect the ramp at Lees Ford? Not sure......I hear the ramp was one of the old roads before they made the lake.

Here's some pictures of the current lake levels. Looks like replacing the depth finder this year will be a necessity.
