Hi, is there a standard trailer plug type that Mastercraft uses? 3 prong or 4 prong or square or round etc.? If your tow veichel does not match what do you do?

Mine is 5 flat. I believe that is the more standard now. It went from 4 to 5 to add the brake disable line.

Seems like $100 will fix any cable plug mismatch!

I believe it was around 2000/2001 that MC went from 4 flat to 5 flat. Then, changed from 5 flat to 7 round on all 2006 boats.

Seven wire RV type or five wire flat pin, the center pin is the backup light (seven wire and fifth wire flat) function if you have the solenoid electrical isolation so you can back up when surge brake compresses.

Look on the internet for seven wire and five wire connections and you will find the info you need.
