Looks like the U.S. Navy SEALs just got a brand new tool for the War on Terror. The boys at NSWC Crane (Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, Indiana) have apparently been busy little beavers over there. One of the projects they've been working on is this little .50 BMG badboy. It's called the AS50 Semi-Automatic Rifle, and it's the result of NSWC Crane's teaming with Accuracy International (AI). http://www.defensereview.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=691

They need to work on their camera control software. It seems to be a bit jerky. Might be wind, but it looks like the motors (especially the up/down motor) aren't very stable...

I can help them with that.........if they can help me get BMG .50 or MP-5 attached to the camera mount

I have an "aquaintance" who works as a contractor for a branch of the gov't. He was a sniper in the service. BMG .50 is his tool of choice. Now they just call him up for "special assignments". He says if the conditions are right, he's good to around 2,500 yds. but I think he's full of it...

The person monitoring the camera just announced that someone from Oklahoma had contacted them about watching the webcam!
Who could that have been?

jus' watch'n the video re: the sign'n of the fence.
what a joke, "a virtual fence"

I say, "employ the mex's to build the fence line"
They did it for the "Great Wall of China, why not here as well

Does the word "ELECTRIC FENCE" have sufficent meaning in this case?

CA just approved a whole bunch more fence along the border...I don't know when they'll start building it, but I believe it's a "go"

Problem is, they'll just tunnel under it, or find another way in. The punishment needs to be stiffer.

I've been checking the site for the last couple days since you started the thread and I haven't been able to access it. Maybe Uncle Sam is jealous, and has shut them down.
