Well, the Cleveland Boat Show started on Friday evening and the new dealer Boat HOuse Marine At Tri Lakes had a great looking booth. I shot some photos to share, so hopefully I get this right.

Great Pics...

On the red and white X-star, is that protour red? It looks really nice.

Yes it is the pro tour red, same as the PS197 that I took a photo of. Really a nice display all together. The X-Star, the X2 and the X45 seemed to get the most attention.

That X-2 is sweet!

I think they called that a "swith graphic", rather than going with the traditional X2 graphic. It sure did catch a lot of attention. The black X45 was really cool to and very popular.

No CSX at the Cleveland show? I figured that might be a decent market for it...being on Lake Erie and all.

The dealer really wanted a CSX and a 214 to be there and they have had a lot of inquiries regarding both. They had planned to have them there, however, from what I gathered, there were not enough available to hit all of the boat shows, so Cleveland has to wait. Personally, I would have thought that MC would have had a big marketing/ad kit for the dealers to display who did not get these 2 models (maybe they did have one available and it just wasn't in Cleveland)

The X-star is nice, but the X2 is also what grabs my attention. It is more the size I need. I was traveling this past week and the local MC dealer had a pro-tour red and white X2 listed on the web. I went to check it out, but it was still shrink wrapped from the factory. :( And with no cash in my hand, they were not about to cut it open for me to look. From what I saw, it was really nice. My only problem is that in some respects, I guess I am too old school. If I am going to pay more than $50k for a boat, it is going to say MasterCraft on the side in big letters, not X2. I guess I could always add the extras to the Maristar200.:woohoo:

I saw a X1 that a guy purchased and he had the same issue with the design, so he purchased/worked into his deal, a set of the larger MC decals that you see on the TT boats and placed it down the side. The boat looks great, and from what I've heard, more and more people that see his setup want it.
Just food for thought as opposed to ordering a true Maristar.

I have thought of that. I wondered how it would look. Do you have any photos? If you could post them, that would be great. The only issue with that is that you can not get "flake" colors on a X2 because the color goes all the way under the boat. From what I have read on this site is that you can custom order paint, but they will still not put flake all the way under the bottom.

Did they have 197TT? Have they ordered one for anyone yet?

Has anyone ever been to the Dayton (Ohio) boat show? It is scheduled for Jan 26-28 and Feb 2-4. Was wondering if it was worth checking out.

Not sure if you've seen pics yet, but here's a few of our 197 TT.

I went to the Dayton Ohio boat show last night.... save your money. The MC dealer from Cincinnati was there, but the only MCs they brought were two left over '06s. They had a X2 and a X45. I guess we see were we stand.

The other marina's brought some nice '07 boats so I was able to check them out!!! But they were still not built as well as the '06 MCs.
