It would be one thing if he were killed in some 3rd world country, but this was downtown Denver???

I watch every year there is ~150 homicides in Indianapolis. I don't know what we are coming to.

Back to my undergrad Criminal Justice days, I believe stats from the Uniform Crime Report show that December leads all months for homicides. Where as July leads all months for rapes. December comes and you spend time with that crazy uncle who makes you made. So, you blow him away. That's the theory anyway.

Food for thought: when ice cream sales are up so are rapes. Should we outlaw ice cream?

Yea this incident occured when he was riding in a strecth limosine with 15 other people. Javone Walker (sp) was also in the limo at the time but was not hurt. The report was that they were all downtown celebreating Kenyon Martin's birthday...he plays for the Denver Nuggets. The 15 people were heading away from the party in the limo when a white suv pulled up on the drivers side and fired 15+ shots several of which struck Williams. For more on the story you can go to our local NBC news station, 9 NEWS website and they have a story on the website about it. May he rest in piece and my thoughts and prayers go out to his kids, and the rest of his family. What a way for Denver to start off 2007!

I don't follow football too much, but from what I've seen so far....
he seems to have been a pretty good kid:(

16804Good kid or not, he was a positive role model at present day (who cares what he was or wasn't like in his past youth) and was well on his way to spreading the message to kidz about the negatives of gangs and the life that comes with gangs. He was young, talented and on his way to greater things, and I mean more than a sports figure. Such a waist, such a meaningless loss of a human life. My thoughts go out to his kidz, family, and friends. RIP D.Will
