I saw someone post a picture of a "boat bed" they were making and got inspired to build one for a grandchild. Thanks! It is almost done but it had to share the garage with the real-deal boat tonight after the end of year ski session. Hope this boat-bed will inspire a future skier.

I'll take a king size also. This looks far better than the dog house I'm used to sleeping in!

No need for a ballast system. I'll be adding my own on those nights that I can't make it to the bathroom! I hope it's a waterbed! I kill myself! I got a million of them (MODERATOR, PLEASE STOP ME SOON BEFORE I HURT MYSELF LOL). Have an awsome, bur safe New Year to mig and all here at TT.

Sorry for the thread jack. Hey tuffenuff have you had your MC a while or did you recently buy it. The reason I ask is because someone I know was selling his.

Very nice! I really want to do one of these for my son. Does the navigation light function for a night light? :)

Be sure to take a lot of pics and submit the to WS Mag.

Really sharp, but does it leave much of a wake?

Good job, what a labor of love.

The nav and anchor lights are from a 1950's boat I took apart once upon a time and they light with 4watt bulbs for night lights. I used the speedo and tach from the same wrecked boat. It has an old sony walkman cd with earphones, and a shifter / steering wheel from a merc outboard. Almost installed a horn but thought better of it :) I put a gfi infront of all the lights, including a reading light that clips to the bimini. A great Xmas vacation project, kept me out of everyones hair for a week!
